Glendon, I'm glad the blur worked for you -- since my eyes started getting really wonky I've found myself using a lot more blurring and soft focus. Hey, it worked for Matisse.
I was intending for this piece to be a salute to the old brocade prints of people like Yoshitoshi, Hiroshige, and Hokusai, but in the end the piece wound up taking me in another direction. I was even thinking of scanning in an old print and using it as a source for sampled colors. Maybe next time.
I did make a print of the blurred version last night -- sorry, Traumador, it's a fifteen by twenty inch print on glossy photostock.
But I have been thinking about having some shirts made up. The big Tyrannosaur head on this piece is something I'm thinking about using for that. I'm also considering the eyeball-in-the-hand image...
Honestly, the main reason I want to do some shirts...
